Meet problems when we purchasing
1: When purchasing hotel ice buckets, there may be some issues to consider. As the inner liner of the hotel room ice bucket is made of stainless steel, some factories use 201 stainless steel, while others use 304 stainless steel. Generally, 304 stainless steel does not rust, but many factories use 201 stainless steel to reduce costs, resulting in rust on the inner liner that is difficult to remove. Based on our experience, you can use the following methods to remove rust:
Use a green brushed cloth to remove rust by repeatedly wiping the rust on the stainless steel surface.
Mix one teaspoon of baking soda with two cups of water to form a paste, apply it to the rusted area, and then wipe it off with a damp cloth.
You can also use edible vinegar to remove rust by applying an appropriate amount of vinegar to the rusted area, waiting for a while, gently wiping the rust, and then wiping it off with a damp cloth.
Furthermore, to avoid rust during regular use of the leather ice bucket, we recommend using a 304 stainless steel inner liner and cleaning it promptly after use to maintain the versatility of the hotel guestroom ice bucket.
2: The stainless steel funnel of the ice bucket is too thin and has burrs, which can easily scratch your fingers. It is because the small circular holes of the funnel are processed by metal stamping. When the stainless steel is too thin, many burrs will be generated during stamping, and workers may neglect to remove these burrs during production.
What should we do if we accidentally purchase an ice bucket with burrs? We suggest paying attention to these issues when purchasing ice buckets and confirming with the manufacturer before buying them to avoid unnecessary trouble. We promise that our ice buckets do not have quality problems such as burrs and rust. We will provide free replacement services if any of the above situations occur.
How to remove burrs on stainless steel products?
What are stainless steel burrs? Burrs refer to micro metal particles that remain on the surface of stainless steel during processing, milling, or plating. The existence of burrs can significantly reduce the quality standards of stainless steel products. Therefore we need to use corresponding deburring equipment and effective techniques to prevent or remove burrs on the surface of stainless steel.
Manual deburring: Operators use files, sandpaper, and first-class tools to polish the workpiece and remove burrs. This method does not require high technical skills from workers and is suitable for products with smaller burrs and simpler structures. However, manual filing cost is taller, the deburring efficiency is lower than other methods, and it is challenging to remove complex cross-holes.
